Sweet as Morning Dew

Welcome to my first blog post! I am beyond thrilled to have this option to connect and share my thoughts with you. I figure some of you may be wondering, “Why did she choose Morning Dew Counseling as the name of her private practice?” Well, there are a few reasons….

I have always had a fondness for the morning dew in the early morning. When you walk outside and you can smell the fresh breeze, feel the warmth from the sun shining on your face, and witness the beauty of the fresh dew drops glistening on nature all around you, wow! Just thinking about it brings an uplifting to the spirit.

Dew represents a fresh start or a new beginning to the day. Don’t we all deserve this in our life? To begin anew and to feel refreshed from the inside out. God gave us dew as a reminder that it’s never too late for a fresh start. A fresh start is yours for the taking everyday!

Unfortunately, some people do not believe they are worthy of a new beginning or a fresh start. If you are reading this and that is you, let me be very clear. YOU are worthy! Every person on this earth has made decisions that they may regret. The good news is that you can use those difficult times and tough lessons to help shape you into the person you choose to be today. Your past mistakes or regrets shouldn’t stop you from having your best life. Use those valuable lessons as motivation to do better for yourself.

I am a truth speaker, so I will say this. Change is not easy. You have to make a commitment to yourself. You can not change for another person before making the decision solely for you. It’s a heart and a mind matter. Change is definitely possible. I have done it for myself so I am speaking from experience.

The most important step is the first step. This is the recognition that a change within yourself is necessary. Will it feel scary? Maybe. Will it be difficult? Possibly. Will it be worth it? Most definitely!

Much Respect and Love,

Cynthia
